Mission Forward: Building a Movement
Events

The Story
YWCA has been at the forefront of the most pressing social movements for more than 160 years — from voting rights to civil rights, from affordable housing to pay equity, from violence prevention to health care reform. Today, they combine programming and advocacy in order to generate institutional change in three key areas: racial justice and civil rights, empowerment and economic advancement of women and girls, and health and safety of women and girls.

From Mission to Experience
Brand strategy and creative direction shaped how YWCA’s mission would be seen, felt and experienced throughout the National Conference and Leadership Capacity Building Institute. From early concepts to the final environment, we developed a visual direction rooted in the organization’s legacy while creating an experience designed to move the mission forward.

One Identity, Every Touchpoint
We translated the creative direction into a flexible visual system designed to live across the full conference experience. From environmental signage and printed materials to branded merchandise, each application carried the identity forward while remaining functional, engaging and distinctly YWCA.

Bringing the Brand to Life
The visual identity extended across every conference touchpoint, creating a cohesive experience from arrival to departure. Signage, print materials, merchandise and supporting collateral worked together to reinforce the event’s message while giving attendees a consistent and recognizable expression of the brand.
We partnered with PRECON as our fabrication partner and In Rare Form as our production partner to heighten the attendee's conference experience.
